India nurses held in Iraq 'to be freed'


46 Indian nurses held in Iraq are to be freed.The nurses, who were working at a hospital in the town of Tikrit when a swift jihadist-led offensive began last month, are currently being held in the militant-held city of Mosul.

They are expected to move to the Kurdish regional capital Arbil where Indian officials are waiting to receive the.m and fly them home.
